Molly

Sweet second grader!

Dave fondly refers to her as "L.A." ...aka-"little Annie."   She's smart, sweet, talented, organized, moody, emotional, verbal, bossy, sensitive, thoughtful... I can just go on and on, she's me! I'm totally kidding!! In all seriousness, she has lots of quirkiness and traits of myself.  Some days I love it and others I'm thinking, my poor mother! My favorite line,  "Mom, don't get so frustrated. You have 3 kids, what can you expect!" She does ground me a lot not to mention correct me and keep me on my toes!

She's super helpful and thoughtful and very kind when she speaks of others.  She mentioned that there was a new girl in her class and she didn't know anyone.  She made the point to tell me that she was going to play with her on the playground because she was lonely.

Here she is waiting at the bus stop on the first day.  Notice her looking at her watch...she never likes to be late!  She keeps everyone in line.  School is going great and she enjoys homework and getting good grades.  She loves her teacher, in fact she has loved every teacher so far!

Last picture with blankie!

Molly has loved this blanket since she was an infant.  It has traveled everywhere with us. We recently made the trip to the orthodontist because the thumb is ruining her teeth.  We made the decision together that it was time.  Time to give up the thumb, which meant giving up the blanket too.  The blanket fairy arrived 20 days ago and to this day, we've had no sucking of the thumb. Yeah Molly! I am so proud of her, as I know first hand how difficult it is to stop sucking your thumb.  She loves telling everyone, "My mom sucked her thumb til she was twelve.  Can you believe that?"  Molly was very grown up giving the blanket away.  I don't know who it was harder on, her or me:(

Here's our mother hen holding her sweet baby cousin, Hunter.  She's growing up, and we couldn't be prouder!
