Welcome 2009

Christmas has come, decorations are down, and new year resolutions have been made. One for me was to spend some time away from the computer. I'm somewhat accomplishing that one considering I haven't updated in almost a month. I thought over the holidays that I spend way too much time on the computer that chaos suddenly erupts every time I'm trying to answer an email. So...I thought it would be best to "limit" my time. Well, Santa might have thought otherwise as I type in my kitchen on my laptop! Very fun and trying to keep little fingers away from it as well.

Our Christmas was wonderful in Connecticut...a true white Christmas. Lots of snow and cold cold weather. The girls had lots of fun and constant entertainment. I don't think Molly ever made it to bed before 10. So...lots of adjusting since we've been home.

Funny stories that I'd hate to forget...

Santa. all of our family and friends were so generous. So many wonderful toys and outfits, we're very grateful. But, the other day Molly looked at me and said that she was tired of Christmas...no more presents! Did she really say that??!! Yes, she did. I think it shows that sometimes it's all just too much for a little one to take in!! So... we've put a few toys away to save for later and gone through some of our older toys to donate.(new year resolution #2 declutter, clear out and give away.)

Doctor kit: One gift that the girls have been enjoying is a medical doctor kit. They check their babies and our ears, throat, heart beat, etc. Molly is constantly taking my "blood pepper!!!"(really blood pressure!)

So...we're back into the swing of things. Hope to update more often with stories and events..

(no excuse with this new computer!)

Happy New Year!
