Tomorrow morning we are scheduled with another peds appt to re-check Kate's ear. Last Tuesday, I brought her in for what my motherly instinct told me was an ear infection-no fever, just crying in the middle of the night. I was right, a right ear infection. We received an antibiotic and were told to come and have a re-check the following Wednesday. As she said next Wednesday, I was thinking to myself that day wouldn't work. It occurred to me that we are leaving for CT on this day. So, I asked to come in Tuesday, the doctor told me no problem.
As I thought the medicine was working, last Friday night brought the same scenario. We headed back to the pediatrician's office Saturday morning. Ear is still not clear so an antibiotic was given through injection. Poor baby! So, I pray for a clear ear tomorrow so that we can make our flight Wednesday morning to Gammy and Paw Paw's house.
