Going Back

I thought I would go back and read some of my older post, post from when I first started documenting the stories from our day to day life. All I can say is that it was lots of fun. I can't get over how much Lexi looks like Kate. It's unbelievable. I've forgotten lots of these stories, so it's fun to read. I think it's time I write down some more fun ones.

Molly is growing up. She's very insightful and very sure of herself when it comes to me. She's a little overdramatic and a little silly at times. She likes to tell everyone, everything. Kate is by far the funniest right now. Her speech is improving but some words still sound really "Kateish!" Lexi, well she's just starting to talk. Today she looked at Megan and said, "Where's Riley?" It was cute.

Molly story
Molly takes her heart medicine everyday and of course there are some days that we forget. So I have to go to school and bring it to her. I meet her in the nurse's office and she takes it. Mrs. S, who is super sweet, is always friendly when I come. So in talking, Molly interjects, "You know Mrs. Sweet this taste like liquor. I know what liquor takes like because my mom tricked me one day and I thought it was water but it was really liquor." OMG(another word she likes to use!) I QUICKLY explain the story about the vodka and tonic I had on the counter to take over to the Banks for pizza that night! Molly was thirsty and just assumed I had water in my cup! I could totally see myself doing this to my mother twenty someodd years ago. And she loves to tell everyone how her medicine taste like liquor. Like I said, loves to tell everyone everything!

Kate story
In Mass one Sunday Kate leans over to me and says, "Mom I see Jesus' phone number." Slightly confused I say, "What honey?" "Jesus' phone number on the board." It was the hymn numbers. TOO funny!
Kate was sick and I was up with her during the night. She says to me the next day..."Mommy you are so good to me when I am sick. You wake up with me and you don't get mad when I throw up in your hair!"

Lexi story
Well, she doesn't talk much, although watch out...she knows what she wants. She gets her shoes and coat out of the closet and sits and cries until we go out with the bigger girls. Her favorite word..."KATE!" and "MILK"
