Much to Molly's disappointment, there were no luau invitations, fancy cake, party favors, bouncehouses, food or drinks...just a simple cake made by me! I always have this dilemna when it comes to birthday parties, especially ones that they can't ask for! Do I spend the money and time when she really doesn't care!??? I go with my practical side and say "no!" BUT...her best little buddy came over and they enjoyed ice cream and fighting over the new sippy cup! We sang Happy Birthday twice and celebrated with our family when they were here. Perfect for a one year old! Molly...I promise to add (most!) of what I would of spent entertaining all the adults and kids at Lexi's party to your 7 th birthday party...pinky promise! I always feel Molly gets slightly forgotten with a birthday so close to Christmas:)
And of course, her best friends forever...her sisters!
