One Year Later...

It's been one year since we pulled up to our house. I remember it perfectly...walking in and showing my mom around and being so excited. It was late that night and we had spent all day traveling but we wanted to check it out. As we were leaving and closing the garage door, I saw our neighbors pulling up in their driveway. If you know my mother... you know her suggestion to me, "Anne, you better jump out and go introduce yourself. It looks like they have kids!" My response was that I was too tired, I'd meet them soon enough. Well, my mother wouldn't think of it, she jumps out and runs over. Well, I'm certainly glad she did! I never was really nervous about moving and I don't know why. Dave made me feel it was a good move for him professionally, and what I saw and read about Indiana I liked. I knew I would still be heading to Walmart once a week, toting kids to and from activities, scheduling doctor appts, cleaning the house, paying bills etc. So perhaps that's why it didn't seem so frightening:) Well, God had his hands on me during this move. I hugged my grandmother for the last time and a day later I met Megan. Megan and I still laugh about our first meeting- both being pregnant with our third child, same age, same interests. We just clicked from the day we met. God landed me next to a friend I couldn't live without. I tell her everything...probably more than she cares to know! She listens to every story I have and never seems tired of hearing it, just like my grandma did. Our kids act like siblings and we've never had a cross word. They are like family and I really don't know what we'd do without them. Thank you Megan...if I haven't told you that already:)
