Have I done enough or is it enough?
It is the question mothers of the past, present and future ask themselves everyday.
Have I done enough so that my children have a strong faith and relationship with God?
Have I done enough so that they are ready for Preschool, Kindergarten, High School, College, Marriage?
Have I done enough so that they are happy and confident?
Have I done enough so that they feel they can come to me with any problem or concern?
Have I done enough so that they have a sense of understanding, compassion, empathy towards others?
Have I done enough so that they have a sense of understanding, compassion, empathy towards others?
Have I done enough so that they understand how blessed and fortunate they are?
Have a done enough so that they know how to take care of others and themselves?
Have I done enough so that they show respect for life, the poor, the less fortunate?
The list is endless, isn't it???
I was out with friends the other night and in discussion of our children, one mother said, "A friend once told me that if your kids are clean, fed, happy and loved then they will be okay and the rest doesn't matter!" At the moment, it was exactly what I needed to hear.
So to all mothers, present and future, if you're wondering if it is "enough"...it is!!!!!
They look happy, clean, fed and loved...right?!
