The Kellum Family: Modern Technology!

I love it and become so frustrated by it all at the same time! I decided it was time for me to join the rest of the world and jump on the bandwagon with a smart phone. I love it...I really do! Although, the first week of trying to figure it out... not so much. But...a month has passed and it is lots of fun and super helpful in many ways. One problem with it is... it causes me to never get on our home computer which leads me to not update our blog.

So...my first update...the office. I have been working out of a storage filing system for quite some time since moving here. Our old office furniture...if you want to call it that...is now Molly's art desk in the basement filled with stickers, glue, paint, you can picture it!! Upstairs we have an open space that is called "the loft." Well it's not the loft, it is now an office. The girls ask me why I need an office. "Mommy, you don't work...you don't need an office?" Well, at this house I do work(24/7!) pay bills, organize our life, etc. So, yes...I need an office!! Here is a pic of "my space!"

Doesn't it look peaceful, like I should have some important work to do??!! LOL

Second update...another modern technology dilemna...scanning pictures. Last fall, we took family pics and they did turn out sweet. I had a grand idea to scan pictures for Christmas cards, the blog, etc. I also thought I would buy photo paper and copy individual pics. I love Christmas cards but this past year I just didn't get it all together. Always next year!

So...I got my camera and took a picture of a picture. Here are my two favorites!

Last but not least...I've been taking pictures with my new phone and I can't figure out how to upload onto my computer from my phone. Yes, I'm sure it is super simple. But again, lack of time and motivation has forced me to take a picture - of a picture -off my phone! A little blurry...but still super cute!
