Fall is here and it is feeling a bit cooler here in Indy! I just love fall...pumpkins are out, Halloween decorations are up, and Molly is changing her mind daily about the oh so important Halloween costume!
Activities are busy. Molly does cheerleading on Thursday nights and has homework daily. She's reading, writing, adding and earning WOWS(their reward system at school!) She's super excited to go to school everyday! Kate has tumbling on Tuesdays and preschool on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. I'm so impressed with what Kate comes home with. It was all about "A" this week and the circle shape. We were driving home from school and she says to me..."Mommy, Red means stop, Yellow means slow down and Green means Go! We learned about the traffic light!" And she's telling me how to drive...already??!!! Alexa is her sweet little self. She's such a joy and I'm so grateful to have her. I truly don't know what we'd do without her. My husband is in heaven with football back. I too enjoy the excitement of weekend football. We have lots of teams to cheer for. We've become quite the Notre Dame fans and do like the Colts, when they're not playing the Saints. But our loyalty remains to the Tigers and Saints!!!!
I have cute pics and videos of some of the activities listed above, but unfortunately they're not loaded onto the computer yet. Will try to get to that soon! Welcome fall:)
Update on Kate...She had her neurologist appt. last Monday. She will have a MRI and EEK(i think that is what it is called!) on Oct. 8th as a baseline so that we can monitor her and see if there is any evidence of the disease. I was really impressed with the pediatric neurologist and he made me feel very comfortable about it all. He will monitor her closely until age 10. He told me that by age 10, we will have a better knowledge on how it might possibly affect her. I look at her everyday and see a sweet, bright, intelligent little girl-showing no true signs of neurofibromatosis. I would be lying if I say it doesn't cross my mind. But I'm doing my best to give it up to God and Grandma. He is in charge and Grandma is our guardian angel.
