Routine looks something like this...kids up bright and early, breakfast, gym, play outside, lunch, school, errands, Molly off bus, dinner, outside play time, bath, books, bed(my favorite part of the day!) In the middle of all that...laundry, dishes, cooking, breastfeeding Lexie, cell phone ringing-never answered, several text messages, meltdowns, sibling rivalry, checking emails, and if I'm lucky - a shower by myself:))
Hope it doesn't sound like I'm complaining...but truly the day seems to last FOREVER! But at the same time, the days go by so fast and it is the weekend.
Molly is so independant and such a help to me, Kate reminds me about everything,
(ex. was taking the kids to McD's b/c Daddy was working late, told Kate earlier that day to not let me forget the coupons. Loading all three into car and she suddenly jumps out and runs inside. Comes out with the coupon from the drawer! My memory relies on a 5 and 3 year old! )... and last but not least Alexa-easiest child I have...doesn't talk or walk yet. She thinks everything I do is wonderful and gives me the sweetest smiles everyday!!!!
Praying each day my girls will say that what I do and have done for them is and was the best! If I'm anything like my mom, they will say it was. Thanks Mom for being such a great teacher, I really don't know how you did it!! But you did...and it was always with a smile:)
