TEN Days!

Well, let me start at the very beginning...

Our house sold quickly...after 45 days we had an offer. Wonderful. We quickly found a new house and moved in thirty days after we had a contract. The new house is nice. It has all the things we were looking for...4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, open floor plan, and literally the neighborhood directly next to our home away from home-Mary, Queen of Peace. My gas bill has gone down tremendously...I think I've only filled the tank once in two weeks. You might think I haven't gone anywhere. Well, truth be told everything I need is within two to five miles and it's just great.

Day 1 Three days prior to closing on our house, I felt a little funny. I was waiting on my "timely friend" to arrive. Blaming my friend being late to extreme stress and exhaustion, I really wasn't worried at all. Well, the timely friend did not arrive and after a quick generic pregnancy test inside the Target Family bathroom, a "+" appeared quickly in the result tab. Immediate reaction-test must not be right! Well, very rarely is a pregnancy test not right! It is TRUE! Baby #3 will be here at the end of June! All looks very good with our new bundle of joy, and we feel very blessed to have such a gift! I thank my wonderful husband for his reaction, I married the right man!

Day 3 We left our first home on Calumet Drive in Madisonville. Very sad day to say goodbye to all of our wonderful neighbors and all the memories we had created. Closing went smoothly as we were selling and buying back to back. We were in our new house for Halloween, and the entire moving process went well. All the heavy lifting I was doing the week before suddenly came to an end and the "don't sit down until it is all done" mentality went out the window! The boxes can stay where they are, they will get un-packed eventually.

Day 10 Boxes will get un-packed EVENTUALLY! Dave arrived home for lunch and I could tell he was very anxious. I had a friend visiting with her little one so I really didn't have an opportunity to chat with him. He tended to hand around longer than usual, but again I didn't think much of it. After my friend left, I called Dave and asked what was going on. He said he'd talk about it with me later. Well, I'm a little impatient and asked him to please let me know what's going on. His response:"The company would like for us to go to Indianapolis." SILENCE. I begin to ramble... Absolutely not, we just bought this house and we're having another baby, etc. He kept asking me to let him finish. So I did, but still with my immediate reaction in my mind. The weekend came and he wanted to discuss it more and I kept avoiding. To my husband: I apologize for avoiding those couple days and I know you were very stressed out. Let me say too, we've always been in discussion about relocating. I've always known it was a possiblity and most likely a reality, but I think sometimes when you know it is going to happen you freeze up. So I FROZE. I cried and I continued to unpack boxes as if I was not going anywhere. WELL, with much discussion and in complete support of my husband...we are heading to INDY! Dave and others will be taking Blue Bell into this new market and it is very exciting. I am very proud of him.

So....TEN Days and my life as I had planned it turned upside down. We're all on this "adventure" of life. It has many twist and turns, but one thing for certain we are not in control. The Big Man above had this planned for us the entire time. So I'm asking Him to walk with us and guide us every step of the way. I'm certain He will!

Should we become Colts fans too????!!!! LOL
